We seem to be on the "same wavelength," Paul.

Let me add a related idea, i.e., complexification (the process of making something more intricate, multifaceted, or intricate).

I've been thinking that cosmic consciousness (aka God for some people) created a universe with a purpose: To increase the "density" of actualized quanta through a repeating process (cycle) of increasing complexity, followed by entropy, then even more complexity.

Experience through cognition (including perception, thought, awareness, memory, etc.), emotions, and behaviors creates flows of intricate electrochemical-related quanta in the brain neuron and nervous system networks, adding complexity to space-time.

According to this hypothesis, the fundamental purpose of life is to experience, although people can also have their personal purpose(s) for their lives.
