To answer your question about potentialized nothingness, it could be realized since it is static but not permanent. Based on the double-split experiment, some level of consciousness is likely a synergistic ingredient. I imagine it to be the quality of quanta that enables its energy to become a particle that pops into and out of existence. If there was no potential, then there would be no energy and possibility of being realized.
