It is true that science requires hypotheses that can be empirically measured/quantified.

It is equally true that science cannot answer many questions about reality, consciousness, subjective experience, etc.

Logic and reasoning, however, can provide possible answers to questions vital to many people--about existence, life meaning & purpose, etc.--which incorporates (builds upon) scientific discoveries while offering thoughtful metaphysical explanations that simply cannot be proven within the constraints of the scientific method.
