I’ve been studying adaptive (beneficial) or maladaptive (detrimental) mindsets for decades with a particular interest in how they cause societal fractures. So, I asked ChatGPT4o to analyze the mindsets of voters for Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, focusing on their thinking patterns, emotions, and behaviors.

As a psychologist, I am interested in understanding how people’s mindsets influence their feelings and actions, as well as the consequences of conflict. My goal was to see if the AI tool could provide an unbiased analysis of the factors contributing to the division among American citizens stemming from the Presidential election.

The following compares the mindsets of Trump and Harris voters, focusing on their beliefs, values, attitudes, and emotional responses.
